Logicor, a leading European owner and manager of logistics real estate in Europe, has today announced changes to the leadership of its business in Central and Eastern Europe.
Ronald van der Waals has been appointed as the Managing Director for Logicor Central and Eastern European portfolio, with effect from January 2023, adding to his current role of Managing Director of Northern Europe.
Ronald will be responsible for continuing to drive the growth of the portfolio in this key region and will continue to be supported by local teams in both regions.
Ronald takes over from Bartek Mierzwiak who successfully grew the presence of Logicor in Central and Eastern Europe over the previous eight years and was an incremental part of the growth of Logicor as a business.
The network of Logicor’s logistics real estate in Central and Eastern Europe spans Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania, totalling over 2.1million sqm and is home to 227 customers, ranging from UPS to Huhtamaki.
As a region, it remains a key focus for Logicor with 43k sqm of space delivered over 2022, 15k sqm under construction and a solid pipeline of over 100k sqm of developments for 2023.

Ronald joined Logicor in 2022 and brings over a decade of industry experience, having previously worked as Managing Director at CBRE Investment Management, leading office, retail and logistics in the Netherlands, and as a fund manager for the CBRE Dutch office and retail fund.
