Logicor starts construction at prime logistics site in Nykvarn, Stockholm South

Logicor, a leading owner, manager and developer of European logistics real estate, has started the construction of a logistics park in Nykvarn. Upon completion, the park will offer over 63,000 sqm of leasable space. 

The new logistics park plays a vital role in Logicor’s strategic expansion in Sweden, addressing the growing demand for modern, high-performance logistics infrastructure.

Logicor have now broken ground on its new logistics park in the prime logistics site of Nykvarn Stockholm South. The development comprises two state-of-the-art warehouses, totaling over 63,000 sqm of leasable logistics space. The buildings will be designed to meet ambitious environmental standards and target BREEAM Excellent certification.

Strategically positioned 50 km south of central Stockholm, this growing industrial site offers direct access to the highways E20 and E4. The location offers seamless connectivity to major logistics hubs, including Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Copenhagen. Beyond a strategic location, the site boasts outstanding visibility from the E20 highway.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Wednesday, May 21, attended by representatives from the general contractor YLAB, property stakeholders, and other guests. This milestone underscores Logicor´s commitment to sustainable, forward-thinking development in the logistics real estate sector.
