170 year 10-13 students across Leicester and Banbury have taken part in a series of career and workplace workshops designed to build confidence, develop key skills and broaden career horizons in logistics real estate.
Now in its fourth year, the initiative focuses on delivering interactive workshops where students are introduced to a wide range of career opportunities, gain practical insight into the day-to-day work of industry professionals, and develop critical workplace skills.
The workshops are held annually in different locations across the UK, close to where we operate and are dedicated to supporting the students who need it most. The goal is to provide transparency over different career options and pathways, develop transferrable skills during practical tasks, and share work projects with students, to support diversity and inclusion into the workplace.

This year, our workshops "Reach Midlands," were delivered by Logicor in partnership with The Talent Foundry. This social mobility charity focuses on helping young people from underserved communities unlock their potential and connect with employers.
The programme brought Logicor’s UK colleagues together in the Midlands - close to our assets, to support students aged 15 to 18 at Rawlins Academy, Future Institute and Gosford Hill School.
Throughout the day, students learnt:
- How goods move through the supply chain to consumers
- The role warehouses play in everyday life
- How warehouses are designed for optimum and sustainable performance
- How the people and businesses behind these operations make a warehouse operate, and heard from the Logicor volunteers on their personal career pathways into the industry.

The programme reflects Logicor's growing presence in the Midlands, including the recently consented Logicor Park Bardon, a +500,000 sq ft development in Leicestershire and Logicor Spring 89, a 89,000 sq ft development in Birmingham. Logicor’s ‘Reach’ series forms part of our wider commitment to supporting the communities in which we operate.
