28th January 2025: Logicor, a leading owner, manager, and developer of European logistics real estate, and Kryalos SGR, a private and independent asset management company with € 13.8 billion of AuM and among the SGRs "significant by size" according to the definition of the Bank of Italy Regulation, have announced the acquisition of two land plots, totalling 200,000 sqm in Pomezia.
The sites, acquired by the Mazer Fund, a Logicor-sponsored closed-end real estate fund managed by Kryalos SGR, are strategically located less than 30 km south from the city of Rome and 33 km from Fiumicino Airport, a key transport hub.
The first 52,000 sqm plot is a brownfield project which will see an abandoned industrial site developed into a modern, efficient and sustainable 14,000 sqm logistics warehouse.
The second 150,000 sqm plot includes the development of a 15,000 sqm warehouse over a 75,000 sqm plot of land. The remaining 85,000 sqm will be used for urbanisation works, public green areas and parking spaces.
The new assets will further expand Logicor’s 88,000 sqm of GLA of in the Pomezia area and will have a strong focus on sustainability with the installation of photovoltaic systems, LED lighting, and landscaping.
