Logicor and Kryalos Sgr Announce the Acquisition Of 54,000 Sqm Site in Pomezia, Rome

2nd April 2025: Logicor, a leading owner, manager, and developer of European logistics real estate, and Kryalos SGR, a private and independent asset management company with around € 14 billion of AuM and among the SGRs "significant by size" according to the definition of the Bank of Italy Regulation, announces the acquisition of over 54,000 sqm for a major urban regeneration project in Pomezia, located in the province of Rome.

The development which will be overseen by Logicor, will involve the complete demolition of a disused building to for a logistics warehouse of approximately 20,000 sqm.

The new facility will feature the highest standards of sustainability and efficiency, aiming for BREEAM Excellent certification.

The land, acquired by the Mazer fund – a closed-end real estate investment fund managed by Kryalos SGR – is strategically situated along Via della Solfatara, a vital transport axis for the province of Rome, benefitting from proximity to Fiumicino airport (39 km) and key arterial roads such as the SS 148 Pontina (4 km) and the Grande Raccordo Anulare (15 km).

With a portfolio exceeding 2.4 million sqm in Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia-Romagna and Lazio, Logicor is continuing to grow its presence in Italy through the development and redevelopment of cutting-edge logistics centers in strategically vital locations for goods distribution.

The news follows another recent acquisition by Logicor in Pomezia, which will see a 200,000 sqm plot of land redeveloped to deliver new state of the art logistics space in the region.
