Logicor acquired a Logistics Development in Beaucaire from Concerto, A Subsidiary of Kaufman & Broad

Paris, 04 February 2025 – Logicor, a leading owner, manager, and developer of European logistics real estate, has acquired, through a forward funding agreement (VEFA), a 12,850 sqm logistics platform from Concerto, a subsidiary of Kaufman & Broad.

The site benefits from being located in Beaucaire, in the Gard region, which is in the heart of the mediterranean logistics triangle, between Avignon, Marseille and Montpellier, on the French freight transport corridor. Construction for the warehouse development is set to begin in February 2025, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.

The site is centrally located in the Domitia Business Park, a major economic hub spanning 120 hectares on the right bank of the Rhône. Situated on Avenue Joseph Cartier, the building covers an area of 12,850 sqm on a plot of nearly 4 hectares, 1.2 of which will be dedicated to green spaces.

Designed by the Atelier M3 Architectes and built by ING2K, the development will consist of two units which will be equipped with 17 dock doors. A rooftop photovoltaic plant is planned, providing an initial capacity of nearly 500 kWp upon delivery of the building, which can later be increased to 1,000 kWp.

Thanks to its photovoltaic panels, LED lighting, electric vehicle charging stations, and significant emphasis on green spaces, the development is targeting a BREEAM Excellent environmental certification. This aligns with Logicor's broader strategy of enhancing the ecological value of its property portfolio.

The units will contribute to the economic development and vitality of the local ecosystem, with the creation of around fifty jobs.

Located on the banks of the Rhône, the site is strategically positioned less than 30 km from Avignon and Saint-Martin-de-Crau, and 25 km from Nîmes-Garons Airport.  The asset is also close to three major highways: the A7, A9, and A54. Served by an industrial freight railway and connected to river traffic, this geographic area provides sustainable solutions for freight transportation— a significant advantage for future users.

Laurent Dubos, Country Manager France said: “This investment in the Gard region - a gateway to the logistics markets of Marseille and the Mediterranean coast - strengthens Logicor’s regional footprint and expands its presence along the key corridor of French logistics real estate. Once complete, we are confident that this development will offer future tenants the best possible conditions for their operations and growth.”
