Role Overview
Supporting the CFO and broader finance team, this role involves providing generalist administrative support including diary management, expense processing, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
The ideal candidate will be approachable and professional, with strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail. They should be able to multi-task and comfortable with regular communication across the business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide full administrative support to the CFO
- Responsible for managing diaries, organising internal/external meetings, organising events, booking travel, hotels, restaurants and couriers
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, identify where additional support can be given
- Collate and produce high standard documents, including production and editing of PowerPoint presentations
- Contribute to projects and activities as appropriate for the CFO e.g. project co-ordination, research, presentation and communication support and day-to-day activities
- Maintain any filing and database systems, carrying out regular reviews to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of these
- Preparing and submitting expenses
- Generate purchase orders as necessary and handle invoice processing as required
- Efficient and seamless handover to the job share
- Work alongside the wider Administration team to provide assistance, holiday cover and general office support, when required
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
The candidate must possess the following:
- Experience working as an EA or PA for Management is essential; motivated and keen to develop in an administrative role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programmes
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to use initiative
- A pro-active can-do attitude and may often have to operate to tight deadlines or react to urgent situations
- Aptitude to adapt to a range of working styles according to varied needs
- Excellent telephone manner with good communication skills
- A friendly and outgoing disposition
- Polished and well presented
- A strong team player, able to both benefit from other individuals’ experience and, in turn, support the team.
