Logicor is headquartered in London, with regional offices in France, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Luxembourg, Romania, Hungary, Finland and Sweden.

In order to accommodate the further growth of the Company and to ensure an effective management of the assets, the Company is now looking to hire a dedicated Asset Manager, to be based in Frankfurt, Germany.

  

Role Overview

The Asset Manager shall report directly to and shall work closely with the Senior Asset Manager and will work closely with the other Norther Europe Team Members as well.

The Asset Manager shall actively work on the operational aspects of the German portfolio and support the Senior Asset Manager. He/She is able to work independently on several tasks. The asset manager shall play a key role in the further build-out of the asset management and reporting infrastructure.

 

Operational responsibilities and duties shall include but not be limited to:

  • Overseeing all assets that are owned, leased and subleased by the Company and/or its affiliated entities with the goal to increase revenue and asset values through identified efficiencies and savings in the portfolio
  • Preparing, implementing, monitoring and delivering on annual budgets and asset management plans for each individual property
  • Defines and executes the business plan of the assigned assets in accordance with portfolio strategy
  • Optimizes cash flow distribution through tenant management (selection, occupancy rate), securing rent levels and cash control
  • Manages value growth through optimizing rental income (tenant selection)
  • Identifies segmented tenant groups, acquires and retains selected tenants as long as possible
  • Evaluating individual assets or portfolios for remodels, expansions, development or sale analysis and make recommendations
  • Preparing regular reports and performance analyses
  • Monitoring all third-party service providers involved in the management of the portfolio, in particular the external property managers
  • Overseeing rent collection and actively managing rents in arrears
  • Overseeing expenses, checking and approving incoming asset-related invoices
  • Preparing and monitoring tenders for any new third-party service providers
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with existing and potential tenants for the assets in the portfolio
  • With the support of external legal counsel negotiating, drafting and preparation of lease agreements, lease amendments and lease abstracts
  • Participating in site inspections and property tours
  • Preparing lease approvals as well as general investment approvals related to the operational management of the portfolio
  • Explores the local network for deal sourcing in both acquisition and leasing
  • Auditing and monitoring compliance and any operational issues.
  • Acts in compliance with general and job specific Logicor rules, regulations and codes of conduct

All duties shall be carried out in close cooperation with the Senior Asset Manager.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

The successful candidate should have 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar position, preferably within an institutional, international environment. The candidate should have a proven track-record in managing (light) industrial and logistics assets. He or she should demonstrate the ability to combine outstanding analytical and financial skills with a strong commercial and client-based attitude. The candidate should possess an open-minded, team-orientated and hands-on attitude that enables him/her to build successful working relationships with customers, colleagues and external parties alike. He or she should have the ability to function well in a goal-driven, fast-paced real estate environment. This requires the candidate to be self-regulated and to work independently and accurately. Proficiency with PC (MS Office, esp. Excel and Power Point) and industry-related software (Yardi, Horizon etc.) is required. The successful candidate should be native Dutch and should be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

The position shall require regular travelling and from time to time to Germany and headquarters in London.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in business economics or finance
  • Ideally, the candidate will have an advanced degree in real estate economics
  • Qualification RICS
