BACKGROUND

Due to successful and rapid business growth, Faurecia had an urgent requirement to extend their existing 17,300sqm automotive interior component production facility at Logicor Gorzów. Logicor Gorzów is in the Kostrzyn-Slubice Special Economic Zone in Western Poland. The park benefits from strong transport links including the S3 express road (Szczecin – Gorzów Wielkopolski) and is only 50km from the German border.

SOLUTION

Logicor offered to develop a bespoke 12,820sqm build-to-suit project on 6.4ha of land adjacent to Faurecia’s current leased facility. Key features of this tailored solution are: Enhanced LED lighting; advanced cooling system (compressed air with power feed); increased building height and power feed systems; above-standard floor loading, ranging from 5-15 tonnes/sqm; heat recovery systems.

RESULT

Logicor is delivering an efficient solution that increases Faurecia’s existing production facility by 70%. The expanded building also keeps the customer in a strategically important location until 2028 and with minimized disruption to their supply chain. The expanded facility is also forecast to create 400 jobs by the end of 2017.
